Grosseto Razza del Casalone is a beautyful and elegant farmhouse, just restored, located in South Tuscany - Maremma. along the road which connect Grosseto with Marina di Grosseto (a village along the sea). The farmhouse is at the gates of the town: here you can have all facilities of the town (tennis courtyards, mini-football and skating on the other side of the street, shopping centre at 800 meters, hippodrome with riding in the evening at 500 meters, etc), and the nature's green space; from the farmhouse to the sea (8-9 km) there is all country with open fields. It is in the ideal place to start for a journey; for nature lovers: very near at Natural Park of Maremma (it is extended from Principina Mare to Talamone); the natural Park on Amiata Mountain (Arcidosso) at 50 Km, WWF Oasis of Giannella and Burano's lake at 40/50 Km, CARAPAX CENTRE (park with turtles) 40 Km. Archaeological centres: Roselle at 7 Km, and Vetulonia at 15 Km, Talamone 20 Km, Cosa 50 Km. Thermal sites: Petriolo 40 Km, Saturnia 50 Km. You can visit Giglio and Giannutri isles, starting from Porto Santo Stefano - Monte Argentario (THE SILVER COAST). Razza del Casalone Farm Home 3 Stars Grosseto DESCRIPTIONIt is a traditional farm in the Maremma lowland, 2 km away from the sea-side and I km from the pine-wood running parallel to the shore. It is an ideal place for sea and sports enthusiasts apart from being a strategic departure point for cultural sight-seeing. Many towns can be easily reached from there: Roselle, Vetulonia, Sovana and all the other small medioeval hinterland towns: Massa Marittima, a precious little XIII century, the Baths of Saturnia and Petriolo, Monte Argentario with its close islands of Giglio and Giannutri, the natural park of Uccellina, Punta Ala and Castiglion della Pescaia. Siena and Florence can be easily recahed by car in only 45 minutes and 1 1/2 hour, respectively. The closest town is Marina di Grosseto, 2 km away, and at I km there is an artisan village with a small supermarket, a bakery, a mechanician and a shop where you can rent bikes and motorbikes. The closest shores are at 2 km from the farm and within the same distance you will find a swimming-pool, tennis courts and a riding ground for adults and children. Close to the farm you can get biologically grown fruit and vegetables. The farm also produces honey. From June until September the minimum stay is of seven nights with arrival on Saturdays. Quercesecca Farm Home 3 Stars Grosseto In Fattoria Maremmana are king size double bedrooms available. They are all provided with TVC-SAT, independent air conditioning system, cooking facilities, fridge, safe box, bathroom (shower + jacuzi-bath + hair-dryer), terrace, garden with BBQ and car parking. These rooms are in a detached and fully independent house inside our farm, 4 km from the beautiful sandy beach of Marina di Grosseto and 5 km from Grosseto city centre. Room cleaning (when guests arrive and leave), bed and bathroom linen (changed every 3 days) and shared facilities such as the swimming,pool, leisure areas, babyland, seniorland, etc. are included. Our guests can rent montain bikes (Euro 10,00 per day) and ride them for a nice trip through Maremma or along the cycle-path, located near by and leading from Grosseto to Marina di Grosseto (10 km). Riding centers offering pleasant excursions on horse back as well as private riding lessons are very located near by. Since we do not have a restaurant, meals cannot be served.
