The Peretti farm started out in the 16th century ,the property of Bartolomeo Peretti (died 1544 ).He was renowned for his heroic manoevres against the infamous pirate 'Barbarossa' or 'Redbeard',finally becoming Admiral of the Ponteficial State. For three generations the farm has been in my family and managed since 1992 by myself,Andrea, and my wife , Silvia.Consisting of 36 hectares made up of woods, olivegroves, wheat fields, sunflowers, grazing land and the cultivation of various vegetables. The grazing land is for our Maremma horses, resistant and docile, which we use to go trekking around the surrounding countryside. While you are staying with us you can also try out the naturally grown local products such as wine, olive oil , seasonal fruit, cheese , honey
..the list goes on and on. |
